A courtyard hotel of rammed earth and pale stone, arranged around a still reflecting pool.
Dar Seren takes the traditional courtyard house and scales it up for hospitality. Guest rooms open onto shaded galleries, each with its own view of water, sky and planting.
Thick earth walls hold the cool of the night, and openings are placed to pull breezes through the plan. Mechanical cooling is kept to a minimum.
