A hillside house of cantilevered concrete and travertine, shaped around shade and long views.
The house is two stacked volumes. A travertine base sets the building into the slope. A concrete upper floor reaches out toward the sea and shades the main terrace below.
We chose materials that age with the landscape: board-marked concrete, honed stone and warm timber soffits. The same palette carries from the outside into every room.
We led the project from first sketch to completion and stayed on site through construction to keep the original idea intact.
